So i went out this morning and drove to Burger King and got some breakfast, The D seemed to be a little more touchy which is good. But im not sure if thats just because i was by myself and not with the wife and 1 year old son trying to drive nice lol

But anyways it drives nice and good, like a Hemi should!!

Sure sounds like placebo effect to me. And if it did have any effect, it would also likely reduce your mpg by a similar amount.

As for making my D more "peepy", I can see my 3 year old saying something like that :-)

i find it hard to believe that one depress of the gas would reset any kind of electronic setting. sounds like your just priming your carb for a bit less lag in sending fuel to the engine for a short time after starting.

This kinda sounds like the PCM reset on the older Rams. The explanition for the trucks was that the truck would "learn" how you drove and adjust the gas pedal/tranny shift points to fit how hard you drove. When you do this it resets it to factory settings, if you always drove the pee out of it, you would not notice a difference. If you baby it a lot and then do it, you might notice more of a difference. FWIW

The Rams do make a ding, but the system is different IIRC you buckel the drivers seat belt, pull the PCM fuse then turn the key to start position till it dings...

This thread needs more forced induction. I'm coming to the Durango from a 600+ hp 4 door Cadillac and I definitely am itching for a blower. Can't wait to see what comes out for the D soon

There are a number of systems out there that "learn". But it happens continuously, so no matter how many times you might be able to "reset it", it's going to continue to change.

Doesn't the CTS-V (which is already blown, and is arguably one of the fastest 4 doors ever produced) only have 556hp?

Doesn't meant that he didn't do things to it, like add a pulley kit, intake, exhaust, tuner, ext.

You can always do something. But considering that the CTS-V is already a very pumped up version of the CTS, and a well balanced one at that, if you did much to it you might get a few more hp, but you'd likely also mess things up pretty good and destroy the overall feel and driveability of the car. And you could also actually lose hp if what you did didn't coordinate well with the rest of the car. What I'm saying is that the CTS-V is already a pretty ultimate machine (Ferrari has even co-opted its braking system). It gets to 60 in nearly 4 sec. It would be very difficult to make it better without very possibly making it worse.
