ha knew that would get your attention !!

i just named it that but its the "recalibration"
or whatever that happens when you turn the key
on, wait a bit, slowly press gas pedal to floor, slowly
let it back up, and shut car off

I swear my ride was ALOT more "peepy" haha today

try it if you didnt yet it really did wake my
truck up from the doldrums..

If you baby it a lot and then do it, you might notice more of a difference. FWIW
This is exactly the case here. This "trick" works on most modern computer controlled vehicles. It's called adaptation values. You're just resetting them and making the car relearn your driving habits. Then the computer will adjust accordingly! This trick is useless because the settings get relearned in a few trips. Unless of course you plan to drive like an animal every where you go after doing the reset, or unless you're gonna be doing this reset every other day!! Waste of time, except maybe at the track!

I did this on my wifes Avenger RT back in 2009. It definetely responded better because it learned our driving habits. I will more than likely do this on my new D since it cant really hurt.

I tried it on my V6 Crew. I think it did make a difference. Or could be placebo effect. Who knows.
