Default K&N CAI fits 2012 model

Just installed K&N CAI on 2012 R/T with no issues. Bought it from Feztec.com (http://www.feztec.com/catalog/p10000...duct_info.html). Took one day from order placed to get to doorstep! I will be taking vehicle to speedway on the 27th to get some 1/4 times.

Sounds great. But with exhaust on it I can barely tell.

Great price BTW. Even my K&N FIPK2 cost nearly double that (and with my mods on top of mods, triple+ unfortunately)

I read that based on the sensors the new Durango uses that messing with the airflow with traditional upgrades like a K&N do nothing positive and can even be a minus. Have you noticed any negative or neutral experiences? Any performance gains yet?

In the end if it is a neutral situation, maybe adopting one will ultimately just be for looks and consistency with previous traditional performance mods.

K&N states it made 17 HP on a 2011 Jeep GC. I just took it around the block real quick so less than a mile put on it. It feels faster but it might be mind over matter. Ill be able to give a better review in a few days. As far as a photo I need to finish up engine cover first.

Looking forward to the pictures. I bet it looks great.

I have a soft spot for good looking engine mods.

im smoothing engine cover and doing a paint match to the exterior. I was going to do the intake too but decided against it. Dont want to over do it under the hood.

Yea, I am on the edge of over doing it under the hood so I know where you are coming from.
