Is anyone holding out in hope of an SRT8 Durango?

I dont think the market will be big enough. Plus you dont want to pull from the Jeep GC as they have always been the SRT suv not Dodge.

Anyone know if the SRT8 brakes from the Grand Cherokee will bolt on the 2011/12 Durango RWD?

At the production facility in Detroit, I personally asked Dodge and SRT leadership that specific question. I was told that the were, "definitely making an SRT Durango; Maybe."

Here is my personal photo of the nondescript department entrance to JNAP's Product Engineering. What I wouldn't give to be a fly on the wall in there just to get a glimpse of what they are engineering next. If there is an SRT Gen3 D, its in there on someone's desk.

(with photos of my Durango on the floor at the Production facility in the Atrium along side brand new Gen3s. That was a proud moment in a Durango owners life. In the last photo, YES that is a Jeep JGC SRT8 parked quietly in the background (it was being prepped for Sergio.))

Definitely, maybe eh? That's exactly what I would expect them to say.

You think any of us could afford one?? Have you seen how much a GC SRT8 is going for? Over $60k.....crazy.

I'm more for Dodge putting the Ram's HEMI/parts into the Durango. 390HP is a good start. I'm sure the next HEMI will be over 400HP to compete with Ford and GM's 400HP+ available engines.

Paying 60 grand for an extra 60 ish HP and better brakes isn't worth it. Buy a super charger and you will have the same if not more then the SRT8 anyways
