Anyone have an update on a new possible fix date now that we have passed the original 8/14/12 fix date.

I'm very upset about this not getting fixed. I'm frustrated that we purchased a brand new D with a rather high dollar option that doesn't work properly. In the mean time we have to wait...but for how long? Do we just have to accept this like they accepted our money when we paid for it? Doesn't anyone believe the dealership or manufacture should compensate us in anyway while we continue to wait with for a "fix" or feedback on this issue? What are our options for those of us with this issue besides waiting?

I agree this is very frustrating. We have paid for an option and are unable to use it. Most of the summer has gone now when I really needed this

The fix for this issue still has not been released. They are not listing a new ETA but I will post it here as soon as it is released.

Why would Dodge dangle the carrot in front of us with an ETA then not deliver on that date?

Your right Frohoss, I should not have posted anything because it was an estimated date. I have verified they are still working on the solution and will post it when it is published.

Mine is faulty as well. That is why I am so pissed that the remote window roll down feature has been removed for 2012. At least then I could roll down the damn windows. I'm in Florida and if it weren't for the fact I have cloth seats I would be fuming right now but even with cloth its hot as hell in my car when I get in. I posted a new thread regarding the remote window roll down feature. Wonder if it can be re-activated using the StarScan tool.

I live in Kansas and like you, even the cloth seats get very hot!! I use those reflective window inserts for my dash when I'm not in the vehicle. Makes all the difference!!

Lets not shoot the messenger here, they are at least working on things...so would a work around to this is start the car, go in and hit the auto button and then wait a few mintues before getting in?

Just trying to see what the issue is here to get things working correctly in the mean time.
I've been waiting for this fix before scheduling time at my dealership to avoid going twice but i'm not blaming anyone besides the fact that I still love the truck!

(in a very calm tone) I'm not referring to your posts. I think they are very helpful...as they say don't shoot the messenger. I'm speaking specifically about Dodge themselves on why they give the dealerships information such as ETA Fix dates and not have the fix by then. I've taken my issue to my local dealership multiple times on this issue. They give me the same ETA fix dates. It's just getting old hearing come back later...still no fix.

I did however contact Chrysler Customer Care this morning to file a formal complaint on the remote start issue. Not sure if it's going to help any but...they even gave me the "We'll call you back withing 24 hours" message. I'll post their response to this issue when/if they call me back.

DodgeCares, Thanks for your input though.
