Stock Tires?
Manufacturers do frequently spec tires for a specific vehicle, and there are different sub-types of tires you see on the market that were made special for a particular vehicle. But it's unlikely that Dodge spec'ed this tire to not last as long. The RT is considered a more performance oriented model, and so Dodge likely chose Khumo, because they are a favorite among boy racer types. They are cheap, and not very good, but they have the "performance air" about them. No 20" tires are going to be really inexpensive, but you can easily find different brands that will last much longer. IMHO if you are looking for a tire that will really "perform" on this vehicle, you bought the wrong car.
You don't have to spin tires to wear them out faster, quick starts, hard driving makes a big difference, with that said I wouldn't buy Khumo tires either to replace them if you have other choices. I'm lucky to have Goodyears.
@cbrider
If you have a discount or americas tire(same company different name) They have pretty good prices. I've bought 2 sets from them, and one of the sets went out in 50% of the time and there were good about giving me credit to the next set. I should note that that set was bridgestone pole position 960AS, which I drove on them like I stole the car, and got 20 of 40K miles. And it was AWD to boot(which tends to tear up tires) I would buy from them again.

I've got the stock kuhmos on my 12 R/T. I have 10k on the currently and Im still at 7/32 with a starting depth of 9/32 according to my spare. So no complaints yet but i don't drive it hard or rally. We will see how they last through a Utah winter.
