Default Front Tow Hooks from WK2 Jeep GC

Will the Tow Hooks from the WK2 Jeep GC fit the WK2 Durango? I cannot confirm this? The install procedures don't mention a D3?

I own a 2012 GC Overland and a 2012 D Crew. I just spoke with my dealer yesterday about this same question. The dealer said they "should" be the same which wasn't the answer i was necessarily looking for. Just the same, I have been under both vehicles as recent as an hour ago and it appears they are set up the same. GC hooks are on the way for the D and will be here within the next few days. if they don't match up on the D then I will put them on the GC. I will let you know if they work as soon as I can...

I researched the part number and found that it was listed for the GC only. For the Durango the part numbers listed are 68065280AE Right and 68065281AB Left. It also calls for a bracket, part # 68068159AB. I could not confirm the difference but hopefully you can let the OP know if it works. Perhaps it would work but requires the bracket? Thanks for letting us know what you find.

What your listing here are the pieces not the complete kit and the part 68065281 needs an AB at the end. I still think it's the same as the WK2 Jeep GC. We will see once Durangerous installs his kit.

Thanks, I corrected the AB at the end. Left off in error, sorry. I listed the pieces instead of the kit because no kit is showing available for the Durango at this time and if anyone wants to purchase the pieces individually they can do so. That is if Durangerous determines the kit for the GC does not fit the D.

UPS dude dropped off the parts at about 5:30. I had a bite to eat while the garage warmed up then tackled the tow hooks. Good news - they fit on the D!

It took a little over two hours from start to finish. Reason being - the instructions, of course, are for the GC; therefore, taking the front fascia off was a bit of a task. I just took my time and made sure I didn't have any spare parts. After I was finished i drove on the interstate and ensured nothing was rattling.

Now that they are installed, I hope I don't need use them in the near future. That would suck...

I'll see if I can't get a few pics of the hooks posted up in the next few days. I should properly introduce myself anyway by having full body photos too. (The pics will be of the D, not me)
