Default adding oem entertainment system

I did a search and saw threads discussing adding aftermarket system, but I was wondering if it's possible to have a dealership install the OEM entertainment system after vehicle purchase. I'm guessing 'no' but I wonder if anyone has seen otherwise.

To answer your question about OE... I don't think there will be a cost effective way for you to have it installed. The D is not prewired for it if it wasn't built with it as an option. So a tech would have to run the power and a/v lines as well as purchase a new headliner. You'd be better off going aftermarket instead.

As a side note I have the OE system.. the screen resolution is horrible on it. Makes DVD movies look like 64-bit games (pixelated even at a distance).

Our Durango did not come with the 9" center over head dvd system either. Our dealer is having one installed comes with 2 head phones for $995.

They told me its all plug and play with our radio. We use our factory radio and it displays the movie through it and sound through the car speakers.
