I actually think the stock exhaust sounds pretty good, but I just have a need to modify, you know. Plus Borla is top notch stuff.
I originally was going to go with Borla since I wanted a DEEP loud sound... and knowing the BMW world, Borla is the way to go, but there was a guy on this forum (SINISTER) who bought it and ended up uninstalling and replacing it with the Flowmaster because it wasn't loud enough for him. That being said... I went with the Magnaflow because I knew it had the deep sound I was looking for and it was cheaper. Even though the Flowmaster is nice, it has the more raspy sound that I'm not into. I am extremely happy with the Magnaflow.

Yeah, I'm definitely not looking for the flowmaster sound. I was wanting the magnaflow, but I don't want to mess with fitment problems. I wish corsa made a dual setup. I had one on my srt8 Cherokee and on my C6Z06. Fitment and sound were absolutely perfect.

I email Corsa every couple months to see when they're going to make one. I even offered to drive to Ohio and let them use my D for the R&D. Who knows if or when they'll ever get an exhaust out. Best part is they offer one for the 2012 Dodge Avenger/Chrysler 200. Really? Is there really more demand for that?

I would go with Magnaflow if the fitment was better. For the money, the exhaust should line up and have no issues.

Agreed they should all fit properly out of the box but most seem to require a bit of tweaking. One of the guys on jeepgarage just did some badlanz electric cutouts on his stock exhaust and that seems to be a nice options as well.. check out the link below!

Here are some more pics of the setup to give anyone out there a better idea of what the system looks like (don't mind the dirt):

DAMN that looks nice, the RT should of come with this setup in the first place. Do you think removing those black plastic spare tire guards would damage the spare tire, i don't think the pipes get that hot. It would look better from the back if you can see that beautiful SS pipes. Just a thought. How much $$$ for your RT exhaust. Any pics and how many miles.

Thanks

I am actually ok with the spare tire guards there... I think the R/T is a bit too low for anyone to really see the spare there anyways... Lower bumper cover does a good job of hiding it. As for my R/T exhaust, I'm pretty much settled at letting it go for $200 local pickup. If anyone wants it to be shipped, might be pricey since it is heavy and cumbersome. I'm in Columbia, South Carolina.
