How much are the Custom Red MGP Caliper Covers and what exactly do they bolt too? Basically are you just bolting on something to make them look like painted Bear brakes? I would like to see these installed.

Simply cleans up the look of the stock calipers and bolt right onto the caliper..there are a bunch of pics on their site!

BTW I believe I paid $255 shipped with the "MOPAR" etching!

Nice I am looking to get the viper replicas like yours with these caliper covers. Black wheels with red calipers on a white r/t? What you think? BTW those wheels and caliper covers look sick on your ride.

Default MGP Caliper Covers

I am considering getting one of these vs. painting my original rotors. They cost about $179 for a set (red/black or silver). Also you can have custom engraving and custom colors for more $$$. Below info from a website:

MGP Custom Caliper Covers 2011-13 Dodge Durango Part#147451

Features: 1) Makes ordinary brake calipers look great, 2) Protects the wheels from brake dust, 3) Reduces caliper operating temperature, 4) Less time and effort than painting with better results, 5) Made from 6061-T6 aerospace aluminun, 6)Hydraulically formed to fit each caliper, 7) Available in your choice of finish, 8) Backed by a 3-year warranty against manufacturer's defects and 9) Proudly made in the USA, 10) Clips are used to hold the caliper covers to the calipers, and the bridges that the clips attach to are TIG welded to the covers for strength. MGP Caliper Covers will not interfere at all with brake system operation and they're easy to remove and install when brake service is required.

With MGP Caliper Covers your wheels will stay much cleaner, because they help reduce brake dust. You'll also get reduced caliper temperatures with MGP Caliper Covers. When checked with an infrared thermometer gun, it was found that caliper cover equipped brake calipers were 30º-50ºF cooler than brake calipers without caliper covers. MGP Caliper Covers act as a heat sink, drawing heat out of the brake calipers, prolonging the life of brake system components and reducing the potential for brake fade.
