Startup and shuts off, no tuner on.
I know some people have had issues with start and shut down that have the Hypertech tuner, but I DON"T have the tuner. I will start up my Durango and it will shut right off. Then I go to try to start it back up and it just cranks and cranks. I finally stop it and then let it sit a few and try again to start and it runs. Has happened to me 3 times recently. Has anyone seen this and any resolution?

I doubt anything changed between the 11 and 13 as far as the TIPM and connections go. One person on here just had the TIPM just replaced and they are reporting it was happening again.
Dodge really needs to look into this. THe line from the dealer that did mine was "nevewr seen this before". Even though I talked to the tech that said he had. Dodge don't cover it up, find a fix that works. So far since mine was replaced, I have not had another issue....

Think of it as an interactive module for the whole car. It handles everything including security features etc. Your symptoms indicate that the TIPM is thinking the car is being stolen. When this system feels the car is being stolen it will start /run / shut down then Crank and crank.
As someone else stated they have to get these TIPM modules sorted out. Other models are having worse problems because of them and not just Dodge, other manufacturers just call them different names.
