how bout now ?

An NYPD helicopter hovers above the Brooklyn Bridge as police investigate the abandoned car.
An SUV abandoned mid-span on the Brooklyn Bridge yesterday prompted a terrorism scare that snarled holiday traffic for nearly two hours.
The entire bridge was shut down to vehicles and pedestrians after a 911 caller spotted the dark-colored Dodge Durango, which had no license plates, sitting in the far-right Manhattan-bound lane at around 5:15 p.m. An NYPD helicopter hovered overhead as the bomb squad searched the vehicle. Nothing suspicious was found, and the bridge was reopened at about 7 p.m.
The SUV was traced to a Pennsylvania woman, but it was unclear whether cops had talked to her yet.
Earlier yesterday, another scare turned the street next to St. Patrick’s Cathedral in Midtown into a scene from “The Hurt Locker.” Cops shut down part of East 51st Street and called in the bomb squad over what turned out to be an innocuous backpack left near the Venezuelan Consulate at about 11a.m.
