Default UConnect Problem 2011 Crew

Recently started having issues when we first start our Crew in the morning with the UConnect system. The phone does not connect, or the radio doesn't work, or total failure. Anyone else having similar issues? Interesting that once re-started the system seems to be OK.

Might need a system update. Try starting the vehicle with your phone(s) OFF, let the system boot up then turn your phone On and see if it crashes. If it doesn't crash you prob just need an update. There may be a thread on
Here but I came across this info on a jeep site with the 430/730 nav systems having loading issues while simultaneously starting Uconnect with your phone.

Angry Still Having Issues

Well the shut down of the phone and trying to get an update did not help. We have two cell phones connected. Would deleting one help?

So with the phones off the system booted up normally but when you turned the phones on (vehicle running) it crashed?

When you say you updated the system did you go to a dealer and have it updated?

I would remove both phones and then reconnect only one and see if that resolves it.

1) Can you give more information on your terms (The phone does not connect, or the radio doesn't work, or total failure.)
Do you mean that the radio itself doesn't work at times?
2) shutting the phone off & then back on doesn't reboot the phone. That's done either by removing the battery fir a few minutes then reinsert it, or in the case of an Iphone, you hold down the home & power buttons till the apple appears then release them. The phone will now reboot.

I too am having problems with the sound quality on my durango. It is a 2011 I just bought it so not sure of there has been an update. The sound quality is horrible it has like an extra hissing sound while streaming. Another question does the uconnect usb port play Pandora? Pandora freezes while trying to play music.
The phone I am using is an iPhone 5 with iOS7

I unpaired one of the two phones and the problem had resolved itself. I have since repaired the 2nd phone two days ago and so far so good. I will let you know if I encounter further issues.
