Whoa whoa, I forgot to add the biannual spark plug changes required. Add another what, $800? To the V8 premium? For the non-DIYers anyway.

Negotiations are the key to reducing "V8 premiums". Don't forget, there are guys on here spending over 40K on a V6 and we are talking about "V8 premiums" and the cost of 16 spark plugs every 30K miles? Laughable.

Depending on the deal you work, over the time you own the vehicle it may actually be cheaper to own a V8 over the V6.

That's been talked about for years! lol

If we follow that way of thinking we are all doomed! Even your V6 Durango won't save you from the wrath. It's not like the fuel for V8's gets more expensive and it doesn't increase for the V6! hahaha

We will all be driving Hyuandai Elantras and Toyota Carollas so we can get 35 mpg's while towing our canoes because we can't afford gas for our outboards anymore. hahahahaha

American's like their trucks and SUV's as their numbers continue to rise in sales even with inflated gas prices heh

I got a gas big boy scooter to get me to work in case of fuel price catastrophe! I might look like a nerd but at 72 MPG and a garage full of rad vehicles I'll save my gas for WOT runs baby!!!
