Nobody answered my earlier post. Does anyone know if this upgrade will work on the 430N RHB. My 2012 R/T has this radio (N for navigation). I would like to do the upgrade, but don't want to mess up the radio if it won't work on it...

I updated my '13 R/T RHB with no problems. I used a CD to do it. HOWEVER, I can't tell what changed. I was upgrading from 43.00.13. My screen always had the black background. It did something to the Garmin nav but I can't tell you what.

OK, so I am already running the 33 software. I burned the 50 from the site onto a disk and my system goes to disk and says "Data". The .iso file looks like it is a Zip file. Do I need to run winZip on the .iso file and unpack it prior to burning it then put it in? When I do unZip the file, there are three folders "Garmin, PICTURE and TLDB" and lots of other files. No .exe files though...

I've emailed the ISO's to everyone who wanted them.

Let me know if you guys have any questions.

Glad you got it working BadBenz!! I was watching Cap 2 when you were emailing me, so I couldn't help out very much lol.

Yes it needs to be unpacked. From everything I have read on the Jeep website with *Sox*, you should update the Garmin first then update. Or if you don't have the updates, download both the 33 file and the 50 file and if need be, "downgrade" to 33, update, then go back to 50. Too as I stated above make sure your radio is in sync with the satellites while doing the upgrade(not in your garage). Be patient and when it asks to upgrade the HDD say yes.

Btw, I went from 22?, I noticed substantially improved speed in regards to the rear camera, the ability to add delay, better sound and better looks and connectivity and music playback with my iPhone 5.

OK, got it to work. I wasn't burning it as an image file, so it didn't recognize it. Looks much better then the blue, finally ties in nicely with the interior. Anyways, we'll see how everything else works once I get off work. Thanks all...
