I damaged the front drivers tire. Cut the sidewall, so it is done. Tires have 9,800 miles on them.

The have heard AWD requires all 4 tires to be replaced...Dodge manual says replace in pairs. But not sure if that is the case for the AWD or 2WD

I am worried more about the AWD system and possibly causing a problem due to 2 tires being one diameter and the 2 new ones a different diameter.

Please let me know your thoughts. I know there are a lot of you out there with the working knowledge of the transmission and transfer case.

Vehicle is a 2014 R/T AWD.

9800 is nothing.
Replace the one.
If worried have the others measured. You'll find they should be like new anyways.

No worries at all bro. The difference between a worn tires diameter is so insignificant it won't alter the AWD system at all. Plus if your running stock tires the tread wear rating is phenomenal. I blew a tire with 8400 miles and had almost 90% tread left.

The stock tires have a diameter of 30.5". Assuming that they have 90% tread life left, the difference in diameter between a new tire and your other tires would be about 3/64" (~.05"). If your new tire was spinning at 60 mph, your worn tires would be spinning at 59.9 mph. Not a problem for your AWD system.
