Default Resetting Throttle

Has anyone here tried resetting the throttle pedal in order to gain better throttle response? This simple procedure seems to work with Ram Trucks so I think I will try it tonight and see if it helps with sluggish acceleration from a stop. Seems like I really have to depress the pedal to make it go!

Turn the ignition key on but do not start the truck. Let all the warning lights cycle through until they go off, then slowly depress the throttle to the floor and hold it there for 3~5 seconds, then slowly release it. Turn the ignition off. You are done.
Might be a myth or placebo but what the heck...can't hurt to try, LOL!

It has been discussed ad nauseum.

It works for a while. Then the learning takes over.

According to the Dodge SRT engineers, it is a TOTAL MYTH. Better to just disconnect the battery for twenty minutes if you want to "feel" something different.

Can be adjusted permanently with a tuner, but I understand not everyone wants that.

What Tuner ?, I wanted the Hypertech at $300, simple plug and play. But I'd do more if I can install/Reinstall, and it improves MPG.

It can't be a myth....I have to throttle to over 50% to get this thing moving, shouldn't be that way with a 5.7L V8.

If I had a 11-13 of have the Hypertech still. It just doesn't work with the 14 in my experience.

I have the Diablo intune. You can change the throttle response. I used Hemi fever so he set everything for me. It made a HUGE difference!

So it's not plug and play, there are settings ?
Who is he ?
I see them on Flebay for $450, Hypertech is $300

Can you describe the install ?
I know the Hypertech has a few harnesses to plug and play
