Here is the vin can anyone tell me if it has trailer tow. The dealer told me it does have trailer tow. But I don't think it does, just because It has a hitch attached doesn't mean it has tow.

The build sheet for my 2013 CREW with the HEMI specifically states in the Optional Equipment section
Trailer Tow Group IV
Class IV Receiver Hitch
7 and 4 pin wiring harness

In addition it has heavy duty cooling and the 220 Amp alternator.

I don't know if the V6 would have the heavy duty cooling and larger alternator, but the towing package would be specified in the build sheet.

 

My 2011 crew with V-6 has towing package with load leveling rear suspension, heavy duty alternator (220 amp), tranny cooler, etc. so, yes, the V-6 does come equipped that way if you order it right or buy it right. I would not buy a Durango (or any other vehicle) if I wanted to tow and it did not have the factory tow package.
