I have a $55K car with 22k miles, I paid for a lifetime warranty too and I am stuck having my newest car drive worse than any older car and company vehicle. This is not right. I have only had Jeeps until this Durango and Dodge vehicles for business but if this isn't fixed soon, I cant take it any more and will be forced to move on. If someone knows of how to contact Chrysler in a department where someone will actually hear us and take our issues and business seriously, I would appreciate someone sharing that so we can hopefully get this resolved.
Thanks in advance!

Peter,
Take a look at my most recent post in the sticky thread "jolting on downshifting"
I had rough downshifting since I got the cruise control recall update done last summer. Dealer tried a number of times, including a replacement transmission. Last week they did find a new TCM update that took care of the problem (at least so far it's been good for 1 week and close to 300 miles, which is the longest it's been smooth in 10 months).

Default Shifting vibration

Hello James, I know this is an old post. I came across it today. I am experiencing the same vibration problem when slowly accelerating. Did your issue ever get resolved? I've experienced it since day one and always mention it to the dealer, but they say they can't recreate it. Please let me know thanks

i had the same issue and after several attempts to the dealer they finally have a fix now with the latest TCM update. No cost for me to do this and i have no more bumper to bumper. Very common problem on R/Ts, Chrysler should be embarrassed not even advising owners of the fix.

There is bulletin 21-051-18 to flash the transmission control module, if you have 845RE transmission. That is the 8 speed transmission. The flash may help with your shifting problems.
