Dealer said it is not covered by the warranty. They want $169 diagnostic fee + $216 to fix it.

$216 to fix WHAT exactly? If they know how much it's going to cost to fix the problem then they must know what the problem is...still gonna hit that diagnostic fee though because Dodge.

It was ESIM, EVAP System Integrity Monitor. $45 parts, rest are labor.

What exactly did they say the issue was? My 2011 Durango pulls the same codes. I always assume the gas cap which mine does have. Maybe I should try to change it first.

It was ESIM, EVAP System Integrity Monitor. They have to do a smoke test to find it out. But I would try a new gas cap on yours. That was the most popular problem. Good luck.

My '12 had similar CEL issues a couple and each time I'd simply remove the gas cap and use a clean rag to thoroughly wipe it off as well as cleaning the filler neck.. Problem solved. Don't know why.
