Cold air intakes
Pvc is rated for 180 degrees I have not nor have I heard of any problems with melting, Use 3inch pvc 1ft straight one 45 degree and one 90 degree elbow Your gonna need a small beather filter for the left side oil return. Also a couple to attach the elbow to the tb. That can be found in the same aisle as the pvc .Use reg pvc cement with a spectre filter peoiled so you can address it a year later that filter just gets cleaned and re oiled w/ a kit that spectre sells. check out my profile page for a picture. good luck and take your time.
Do the dual filter CAIs do that much better? I would think so but then again, only so much air can go in or else people would be running setups with 4 filters, etc.
I've seen the home brewed 4" intakes that people make out of PVC pipe. Do the 4" do that much more than a 3"?
I searched but couldn't find these answers.

Does anyone have real numbers to back up performance gains with different CAI's? I fear that some of the performance gain is merely imagined because of the difference in engine sound etc. Thanks for any real numbers!
Still enjoy the sound: as of 4may10
