Default volant intake

I have the volant on my 06 lonestar edition...love it. I want to add a ram air to it but dont want to buy a SRT hood...Anyone know of a way to add ram ir to it without sacrificing a foglight??

stick on scoop and cut a hole in your hood.

remove your a/c unit and route the CAI to where the condenser was.

or maybe a AIRRAM Jetscoop

The right side corner, where the oem air inlet is, provides sufficient ''ram'' air.imo.

I remember reading somewhere the amsoil air filter flows better then the K&N. I was just wondering if anyone knows the part number, the one i'm seeing that might work is 3590 but I'm worried that it might be too long.

Also curious is 3" the standard or could I go a bit bigger, or would that hurt any possible gains.

TIA for any info.
