"Increase 8-10% horsepower". Haha! That's like a 34 hp gain from a CAI.

I just installed a K&N FIPK this afternoon on my 04 2500 with the HEMI. It is louder then the K&N setup I had on my 02 1500 with a 4.7 at WOT. I'll give it a few weeks to see what my gains will be after the ECU relearns its settings.

I was actually thinking about modifying the stock box and piping it in there, or maybe go with a K&N filter with drycharger wrap! choices choices!

Edit: Ran it into the stock box left the top off for the winter, i can throw the top back on in the summer when the mud starts to flow!

clewis33...I don't know for sure about the 77 series but, from I have read and seen is that the 57 series is the better one of the two. Its all by opinion though. I like the 57 series because its a little quieter than the 77 because the metal tube echos the egr valve. And the 57 is plastic so it doesn't hold as much heat.
