It doesn't just give more fuel in WOT, it dumps more fuel thinking it is cold out. This is a bad idea, sorry no offence rocket. You will run rich all the time.

Running rich causes unburnt fuel and unburnt fuel can leed to clogged cats (meow), fouled O2's, washing cylinder walls, gas in teh oil which is bad for your internal bearings, etc....

No such thing as a free lunch.

I could be wrong I guess, but I though even at idle it gave more fuel as well. I just got into Dodges, but from my overall experience with cars cooler temps or the computer thinking it is cooler temps will feed more fuel.

Even if that is the case running rich isn't even good at WOT is it? Hence the term "running rich".

The point being, adding fuel will not give you power unless you add more air. When you go WOT, the computer puts you into a rich mode to take advantage of the increased air flow. So using an IAT mod will only add too much fuel causing you to clog cats and the other things I mentioned above. Messing with the IAT only is a bad idea, at best it could be a bandaide fix if you have a chronic lean condition.

Just installed an S&B CAI that was just released about a month ago. Nice fit and I think looks good. If I could get a pic to upload I would post one, but seem to be having problems doing that. Here is a link to the site which does have a pic. I got the oiled filter. I think they are having a few problems with the pics on the oiled version but the dry version pics seem to work. http://www.sbfilters.com/Intake-Dodg...-5-7L-75-5040D

Not sure about any gains. Not really going into it thinking I would have a seat of the pants gain. Wouldn't mind a little MPG help though!

It's actually pretty big. I think it might just look that way in the pic. It's every bit as big as a K&N, if not bigger. Look it up on the site. They've got better pics then mine.
