Motor Oil
I just changed mine and am presently running Mobil1 with a K+N Filter. Will run Amsoil when I become a dealer for it. The reason for this is because of what I saw with my Harley. I run Amsoil exclusively in my Harley now, and it made a HUGE difference in oil temperature in the oil tank. The temp dropped 15 degrees changing from Mobil1 V-Twin oil to Amsoil.
So yeah, the Ram will get Amsoil as well. Can't say enough good things about Amsoil.

I run Royal Purple across the board Eng, Trans, and Rear end. I use a K&N filter and every 4k or so. Even though we are mostly using Synthetics, it still gets just as dirty as if you were using Dino oil. Why take the chance?
Just wanted to bump this up for some opinions. My '06 with the HEMI (and MDS) is throwing a P1521 code (incorrect oil viscosity) and I'm actually running Penzoil Platinum 5W-20 (changed about 2.5K ago). Has anyone else had this issue?
If not, what oil and weight are you using in your MDS-equipped HEMI trucks?
Thanks!
Edit: After I replaced my EGR valve (was also getting a fault code on that), the P1521 code went away, as well. Also checked my logs and the oil was changed about 1.5K ago, not 2.5K.
