Too bad ya already spent some coin......Google American thunder series, It's a good set up, I have it no sign of rust, repainted chrome, (it's a shiny grey}. with an e-cutout. here is a snippet on you tube. No resonators. no droan.

Recently installed lt headers and 3" y pipe on my 05 ram hemi, decided to not run cats and I am now wanting my low end back. I'm going to take it to a exhaust shop and get everything all welded and adding a SI / DO magnaflow muffler I was wondering what size pipe is recommended from the muffler back? 2 1/2, 2 3/4, or 3"?

I just installed an Aero Turbine AT3030XL and cut off the rear resonator on my 06 Hemi. I was looking for a slight rumble at idle and for it to make a nice throaty sound when getting on it.... accomplished and I love it! Couldn't be happier!

Trying out the Flowmaster SI/DO Super 44 Series...deployed right now, but once I am back home, it will be installed and I will fill everyone in on the results. I will also install a magnaflow y-pipe to replace the restrictive one on there.

JMB3384, do you have any pics of your muffler setup? And do you notice any ill sounds with the MDS kicking on and off or do you have it disabled?

I do not have any pics right now but its pretty simple. Its located right where the factory muffler was with a little added pipe toward the cats and the rear resonator (right next to right rear wheel) was cut off and pipe was added. As far as the sound... its sounds great! Real low at idle, pretty throaty when getting on it. I feel like my MDS has never worked simply cause I have never noticed any changes in milage but I do get a switch in sound when im at a steady pace after a few seconds. It really doesnt bother me but it did throw me off at first. I guess I could get MDS disabled haha

AT3030 on my Hemi. I didn't want to throw some cheap *** Flowmaster in there because I think they sound like crap mated to a Hemi. I scoured around to find that right sound and the Aero Turbine was the best, and that's a single in/ out with the stock resonator on. I've always been a duals guy but this muffler rocks. I guess a Magnaflow would also be comparable to my setup but the internals are iffy. To each there own though.
