i've considered switching to the DSP, but holding back for now because the 03 really doesnt have anything better than the SC. Once I get the cam installed, I think im gonna get a SCT and a custom tune (something neither DSP or SC can do to my knowledge).

I actually forgot about SCT. Can the do anything with the tranny's on the 03 models?

The DSP CAN do custom tunes, the SC cant. Thats one of the main reasons why I switched from SC to DSP because I wanted to be able to put a bigger cam in than what would work with SC and I needed the capability to do a custom tune on it.
From my understanding the SCT is basically a blank programer and is made specifically for custom tuning, so no trans features. That being said I dont think he has to worry much about the trans features as he has an 03' and can do the TMR Delete Mod.

I've joined the ranks of the DSP group! I just ordered mine! it should be here early next week! My truck is completly stock right now but i'm looking to start changing that in big ways soon! you can check out what i've done to my car on my cadomain.com page.
I did a lot of reading online and desided on the DSP over the SC due to the continued desire for development. It seems like SC makes a product (that is good) and leaves it alone. Its like they only adress an older release if a problem arisses. DSP seems to be constanly working to improve what they already have and work to expand.
But my biggest reason is when I started calling places and talking to dealers that sell many types of box tuners. All but one said DSP when I asked what they either have or would have on there own car or truck! That sold me!
So with my truck being completly stock you can tell i'm a nube to the HEMI world but not to the mod world! I'm looking forward to making my truck a beast!
