When you set your shift points is this done by trial and error, keep adjusting them until you find what you like? Right now all i have done is disable mds and put on the 91 oct tune.

Honestly they are all done by feeling it out, writing down where you would like to see the adjustments made and then going back in and changing them up. I kinda cheated a little and tried the shift points one of the guys over at HTC posted up and then adjusted them slightly from there on out to make it more like I wanted it to be (which also helped the 0-60 times slighty as well).

I was too but after reading through things after a while you start to understand a bit more and more. If you are not comfortable with it just leave them stock. I'll see if I can dig around a little bit and find you some good shift points. I dont know if you can use the same upshifts as me since Im using them in combo with the downshifts. The 08's only have the upshifts right?

i have no idea, havent looked into it, was just wondering especially if i can make my truck better with the cutouts open. let me ask you does your truck still perform as good with the cut outs shut as it did before you change your shift points?

Its slightly slower 0-60 now but not by much. Maybe a tenth off if that between the two and thats even a few tenths faster than what it was running with the SC. It still pulls nice and hard though with them closed so really if I just want that extra umf I open them up and let it rip otherwise keeping them closed has close to the same performance.

Just play around with it and keep track of what you want it to do and what you did to it. the only down flaw of the DSP is that you cannot go back in and review settings like shift points, partail shifts, tire size, spark advance, ect.

Let me find the instructions the one guy posted up on the other forum.
