Installed the 07 today.

 

what is the line pressure adjustment for? could someone explain it to me?

 

I read on the diablo forum that it is for the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system)

 

i dont believe i have a tpms in my truck

 

That is what the diablo people said the line pressure is for. It is an option when I am modding a tune as well and I do not have it either. I also can turn on and off MDS, I have an 05 that does not have MDS. Go figure

I thought line pressure was for the transmission line pressure, not tire pressure.
I turned them all of the way up and still run the same 36psi in my tires with no alarm from the TPMS system.

 

Im still trying to figure out if mikel was joking around with it on that thread or not. I dont see why you would raise that setting.... Was it in the trans setting menu or in the engine tuning menu?

 

I agree, Tire pressure would not be called line pressure. It's does the same thing as DirtyJohn did on hos 04 with a resistor in the line pressure wiring to the transmission.
I think my transmission shifts a little faster with the tire pressure turned up all of the way

 

what years are supposed to have the tire pressure/transmission line pressure adjustment. My 06 has nothing with the 07 CRom
