My thought is verfication although nice is too limiting for our purpose. And beside this is for fun. If some simple minded *** wants to lie, then that is on him. Although it is good to be Competitive, I would perfer more of; this is how fast I am and I did it by doing these mods.

I respect the lowered/2wd guys for sure because they can get movin quick! I wouldnt ever get one because if you're 2wd and lowered, you really arent THAT much better than a car (the bed being the advantage over a car).

I choose lifted and 4x4 because i NEED it here in the north dakota winters for regular driving on the streets. After a big snow storm it took them 3 days to plow my street, which meant for 3 days I got to drive through 30" of powder. Even with 4x4 I couldnt have made it through that -- I needed the lift too. Plus I like the occasional off-road excursion

Besides... its the coolest thing in the world to see a big QC lifted truck rollin on huge tires get movin so quick -- one of the things I just love about diesels.

+1. besides, we're all smart enough to know you're not gonna be the fastest in your category without some SERIOUS performance mods. If they dont have them, we know they're lying

I wanna borrow my buddies ram and steal his stock tires and do a run, just to see how bad these slow me down. I'd totally be in mid 5's doing that

That would be a nice little experiment to see how much of an effect those big tires have on performance.

When coming up with the 4 categories, I didnt even think about 2wd vs. 4wd. There is several hundred pounds difference between the two. Almost 1000 lbs between 2wd RC and a 4x4 QC

So what are you thining for categories? Maybe a 2wd category broken into rc and qc then a 4wd broken down the same way?
