I got an 2006 dodge ram 1500 2wd with a leveling kit. I have 17x9 aftermarket rims. What's the biggest tire size I can go without rubbing? Bc I don't want to buy the wrong ones. Thanks

I have 02 Ram 1500 2wd, with a 3 inch Rough Country Lift. Can i fit LT285/75R17 E121/118Q Nitto Trail Grapplers on stock rims. Nitto website says tires are 34.09 x 11.57. I am Ok with some rubbing on tight turns.

You should be able to. Its not much bigger than your stock tire.

Thank you. The reason i asked is because on the Rough country site, it say 33 inch tires. You should see the back window of my truck. I have a pic up. Oh and the pic of whole truck does not have the lift installed.
Thanks and Gig'em

you can fit 36 1350 on a 2008 4x4 with just a leveling kit and the rims are 17x9 with +10 back spacing and they do not rub on the ball joints or anything at all.

A lot of good info noobie here looking to put some bigger tires on my 07 ram 2wd looking for recomendations. i think im going to order the 3 inch body kit w leveling kit giving me 5 inch lift. i have 20 inch stock rims which im going to stick with for now. i have narrowed my tire brand down to the cooper zeon or the nitto at tires. what size tires should i go with. i was looking at 305/55 r 20 but then realized they were same hieght as stock. should i go with 325? i dont want the tire to look to big in fender well. if anyone has some pic with this set up it would me out. thanks for the help

First here's my story.

"When I put my 07 1500 in 4 wheel lock when I accelerate there's a rather nasty vibration. I have the lifetime drive train warranty on it and the dealer has replaced the right front CV joint and axle only because it was leaking by the seal where the axle goes in. After they replaced it, it still vibrated, so today they put in another shaft and it still vibrates. Needless to say I'm a bit pissed at this dealer right now. Anyone have any ideas as to why it vibrates in 4X4 only? I have a 2" leveling kit for like 3-4 years now."

Now my question. My dealer is willing to remove my 2" leveling kit at their expanse to see if the vibration is from it. Now I have BFG AT KO 285/65/20 with stock wheels on my truck. There 11.5 wide and per BFG 34.7 tall ( I call BS on the 34.7). So if I have my dealer pull the leveling kit will these tires clear everything? From what I've read here yes.
