And that is off thier website. I'd feel more comfortable seeing an Indy w/o a bias opinion doing a test.

Obviously this is at the rear wheels.
Is that for short tube?

About 20-25 HP gain is generally what I see the actual dynos being with Long Tubes, significantly less with Shortys.

But it's an accumulative thing, added to a CAI and better muffler and the numbers can go up significantly.

TTI Long Tubes with their Y-pipe and high flow car-sound (magnaflow) cats. A pretty penny but I think worth it. I have a 4wd and a different cat-back but this is the Gains from a dyno sport truck did.

TTI Truck System
2006 Dodge Ram 5.7L Hemi
2WD / Quad-Cab / Shortbed
An independent test performed on the Westech dyno chassis using our Complete 5.7 Hemi Truck System (TTI 1-3/4" Header, Cat-Back Y-pipe Assembly and 3" Exhaust System), showed an incredible gain in horsepower and torque over the factory stock manifolds and exhaust.

--------------Stock------TTI system ------- increase @ 3500RPM
Horsepower:---165 hp------205 hp----------- + 40 hp
Torque:-------248 ft. lbs.----309 ft. lbs.------+ 61 ft. lbs.

I am not sure why sport truck only reported the gains at 3500 Rpms. Personally I would like to see the whole curve.
I dont think I gained near this much power. The biggest difference I notice was some low rpm power and now it really moves when I get past 4500 RPM all the way to the shift at around 6000RPM

Here is the link for the sport truck article http://www.sporttruck.com/techarticl...ust/index.html

As soon as I get some extra cash (not going to be anytime soon haha) I will try and get my truck dynoed to see really what kind of power I am making.

I see no point in shortys other than saying you have headers and also get a better look than the stock manis, right? If you bother to get headers get the longtubes! My opinion, thats all.

Don't long tubes seriously screw with your emissions? There's no getting around that here in NM unless you live on the reservation. Which I don't.

No LT don't unless you dont have the right cat set up. I cleared emissions with no problems.

If you have a visual inspection of your system the LT's will flunk you everytime unless you go to someone that will "over look" them. You are moving the cats from the stock location which is a federal law. If you live in a state that either does the sniffer test or just plugs into the OBDII port and checks for irregularities and emission fault codes you'll be fine.

OK, thats good to hear. I can probably get away with them. How much more in cab noise at highway speeds do they add? Stupid question if you want headers I know. But, I do tow with my truck pretty regularly and I'm curious about the noise under load.
