What is the worst design flaw in the 3rd gens?
Well, I've only had my 2003 4X4 QC a little over a month and the only thing that bugs me is I've yet to find a seating position with the 8-way power seat that is perfect.
But I tend to be picky about that. I'm usually always fiddling with the seating position in any car. Very few I've ever owned were just right.
The most common complaint I see out of others is about the anti-spin clips. But I figure you have warranty on that to 70K and afterward if you have trouble just drop in a True Trac or Auburn (or maybe spend the major jack for an ARB air locker).

Surprised nobody has said Msd yet!

My vote is for how easily the interior trim scratches. just from pulling the trim for the radio/sub install I just did there are 4 little scratches just above the cupholder trim. My 05 and 06 scratched just as easily too, very annoying.
Oh and yes the gas mileage! So much for the 08 4.7L getting 25% better economy, currently I am only getting 13.4 and while experimenting I found that it makes no difference whether I driveit like I stole it or if i drive it likeI am going to the retirement home. But I do love the cammy lope on the 08 as opposed to the sound of the 07 I had.

worst design flaw with every truck is the nose down stance, i mean air bag helper sorings are $250 retail they should start making those an option to keep the truck level when fully loaded.

The weak azz excuse for an air conditioner. It's ok on the smaller cabs, but not for the mega cab, especially when you live in south FLA.

I'd have to agree with the LSD axles. I changed mine to a Detroit TrueTrac at 30,000 miles. The other things Idon't like are the "Hemi Tick" and how weak the upper ball joints are on the 1500 4x4's.
Cup holders. Need more cupholders. One that can hold a full 20oz water bottle under light acceleration and gradual turns would be nice.
Oh, and an MDS light.
Only had my Ram for several months, still in the honeymoon phase, gradually moving into the nitpicking phase...
