CoreyStone11, actually there is a 2.5 LEVELING kit for 07 2wd DODGE RAM. I live in Sacramento California there is a place here called AUBURN LIFTS, let me know if u need more info (FYI) i drive a 07 single cab with a 2.5 leveling kit on the front using stock shocks with 33" nitto trails and it looks and rides great pics soon....

No it doesn't depend on brand. A true 2.5" lift (which would be a 3" spacer) on the 06-08 setup causes UCA and spring bucket contact. Period. The stamped steel Upper Control Arm hangs too low and hits the top of the spring bucket with downward travel. With a 2" lift (2.5" overall spacer) will still cause this but not as pronounced. Also, the stock shock technically is overextended past 2".
That's all with an extended spring or spring spacer. If you have a 3" or 4" spindle that all doesn't apply. Eklipz, what kind of 2.5" level do you have? Not brand, I mean mechanically. What does your truck's front fender measure at?

cheaper ways of doing it but im going with the readylift 2.25"
