How different is dodge from Ford/Chevy?

I went to http://www.fueleconomy.gov/feg/findacar.htm and did a side by side with 2003 dodge/Chev/Ford and found them to only be 1 mpg overall above the dodge. I also did some searching and the new 04 ford's actually went DOWN for MPG. of all the trucks I am not sure the dodge is that bad overall when compairing it to trucks.

also, I am wondering what temp is best for the motors? righ now I am averaging 13-14mpg with about 50/50 city/hwy. Should that go up as the temp does? it is cold here, around 0-10 daily....

Also let me ask this..

Do you have the Super chip? What is your setting with MPG.

I could not see much if any change in MPG with the superchip installed on all 3 programs...

Used to get 16.0 mpg with roughly 50/50 city/hwy. Then went to Colorado over Thanksgiving (between 700-800 miles one way) and it dipped to 15.0. Never changed all the way back home (Arkansas) and now it's holding steady at 14.9. I associated the bad hwy mileage with traveling at 75-80 mph, but now it's not getting any better back home after 3 tank fulls. So it must be a combo of cold weather and "winter" gas. I also checked my tire pressure shortly after we returned from Colorado and it was 25-30 lbs in all 4! Filled them up and no change in mpg after 1 tank.
