Miles per gallon- What are you getting?
Drove 1970 miles this weekend , total average for the trip was 20.3, Thats a combination of everything from city to highway to sitting still on the highway in traffic..I drove mountains and flatland as well as about 2 miles in low 4 through a trail in the mountains of NC. I am well pleased .
2005 4x4 QC Hemi. Gets 15mpg running around town if I keep my foot out of it and the best I got was 18 on a long road trip.
Got 10mpg pulling a 16 foot trailer on a road trip.

Are these MPG figures from the overhead computer console averages?
If so........I get 21.6 MPG but I only tootle arround town at 2000rpm..........that is until I get the LPG gas conversion.
Then it'll be "GET OUTTA MY WAY FOOL" !!!!!! [sm=badbadbad.gif] nah just playin.
At $1.5 a litre ($7.00/gallon) here in the UK, compared to 65c or so per litre for LPG it makes sense to "tootle" ha ha ha. [sm=happybounce.gif]

Well, I just filled up after thanksgiving driving and I recorded 20 MPG and change for the first time (computed from actual mileage, not the truck computer average). I only have an AFE intake tube on right now. I run PS diesel additive, marvel mystery oil, and Redline diesel catlyst with each fill-up.
I currently own a 2002 Jeep GC Limited V8 and I avarage 14.1 MPG (on the DIC, so who knows if that right). I am getting a 2006 1500 Sport QC Hemi 4X4. Whats the chances of me staying around 14
Thanks
Thanks
beastieboys21, Um none. I made almost that exact trade. 99 grand 4.7 for an 03 hemi. I was about 14.5 on the grand and 11.5 on the Ram. Its a trade down in gas mileage. Sorry
