Miles per gallon- What are you getting?
I just bought my 04 Ram QC SLT 2WD Hemi this weekend. It has 28,000 miles on it, an auto tranny, 3.55 gear, and Goodyear Wilderness 265/79/R17's on it. The only aftermarket mod on it is a Line-X spray on bed liner.
I drove it from Cincinnati to Atlanta on almost one tank of gas. I clocked 479 miles and burned 25 gallons of 87 octane. That puts my gas mileage at 19.16 mpg. I drove it the whole way with the cruise control set at 73mph. I drove about 400 miles to get it from Milwaukee to Cincinnati, I didn't watch the miles and gas all that close but I probably did about the same mpg on that trip. the trip computer said avg econ was 18.6 mpg. After I get a tonneau cover for the bed I should get around 20mpg.

In November I purchased an '05 Ram 1500 QC w/ 5.7L Hemi my computer says I am getting 12.9 but my calculations say 12.390 MPG and $0.1775 cost/mile.
Checkout the doc that I attached for how I calculate my MPG and costs.
**Save the file to your computer and rename it to .xls then use Excel to open it. If it doesn't work PM / email me and I can send it.

Hi there, I have an 05 1500 4x4 w/ the Hemi. When I first paid for it I was getting around 9 and 10 (it only had around 350 on it). After I did some looking around and asking some Q's, I tried using the Tow/Haul button on the end of the gear selector, it disengages the OD (if you have this feature). This has make a big diff around town, being the RPM's stay around 1500, and your not lugging the engine. My MPG is on average 11 to about 14.6 in town, although if it does start droping, just let it breath on and expressway or HWY, or even a few stop lights, just don't get a ticket. It also helps to Reset the mileage on your over head (if you have one).

2006 Hemi MDS, 3.92 axle ratio, quad cab, just shy of 4k miles on it - averaging in the 15s for life of the vehicle, get over 20 on road trips. I'll see what I get after I add a bed cover and have a few more miles on it.
Edit: forgot to say it's a 4x4
