Miles per gallon- What are you getting?
After 1000 miles since my 4.56 gear, and 35x13.50 tire install, I'm getting a consistent 14-15mpg on the highway. Which is down from my 17-18 when I was running my 3.55 gears with 265/70/17 tires. Oh well, at least I shouldn't get stuck as much.
Just got Back from Wenatchee...about 310 miles each way with two mountain passes. 2004 2500 4X4 and a stock Hemi. Got 18.8 going over....no 4x4...and 17.5 on the way back with 45 miles of it being in 4x4 and moving at 25-45 mph.
I have an '03 5.7 hemi Ram 4 X 2 with a K & N. I average about 13.6 combo. On a recent trip, I checked my mpg vs. mph using my trip computer.
60 mph = 20.9 mpg
65 mph = 17.8 mpg
70 mph = 16.9 mpg
75 mph = 16.3 mpg

Hello Rammers, since I've had my leg in a cast for almostsix weeksnow, I just been going to the doctors, gettin' coffee different places, maybe to the stores to ride those electric Wal-Mart typecarts(a person could get too use to those carts)....So, since my work trailers been un-hooked, I tookthe truckto the local detail shop; put some good fuel in her; babied it around town, checked the mileage, almost 15.5 !!She's got 112M on her, I'm thinking that's pretty good.....

yes... horrible mileage. i should got the hemi too. when you buy a trucc, get the v8, no matter what truck it is, v6's are too weak for such a body. take it from me. lol. dang, should got the hemi.

are you V6 guys getting bad mileage, everyone told me that was the gas saving motor. I got a hemi anyways.

I average 19.5 just normal driving back and forth to work never over 55mph. If I get to gunning it and racing around on the interstate 85 and 90 mph it'll suck it down really fast to about 17.5 but I can set the cruise on 75mpg and get 18. I have a hard time believing some of these 18-20 mpg claims from Hemis. The 14 to 16 sounds more like it. And the fellow diesel driver with 4:10 gears averaging above 20mpg? Ha! Not gonna happen[sm=forgetit.gif]
Today we took our 04 hemi quad cab out for a little spin. we went about 70 miles in the country. usually I don't get over 13.4 but since I played around with myCTM Fuse asI was instructed to do in this forum I got 15.4 today. No interstate driving, just two lane roads with some stop signs. Never went over 60 mph.
