Industrial Refrigeration for 20+ years. I like it and it pays well, but I'm paying off college loans for 3 kids right now.

My truck is nearly all stock---except for my new Diablo!!

I've been sinking my extra dough--what there is of it---into an 88 RX7 I'm almost done with, so I can unload it to be able to focus more on my truck--later

Was a Maint. tech at a plastic injection molding plant until last year. They announced the plant closing a week after I bought my new Ram.

I now am a Maint. tech at a plant that makes Chafing fuel. (burners under catering trays to keep food warm).

I make a decent living and the wife has been at Walmart for almost 15 yrs and makes decent money in the cash office as well.
I am very thankful that we have good jobs and live comfortably. Nothing fancy, but a little better than paycheck to paycheck.
Most of my toy money comes from a deal with my wife. I quit smoking after 25+ years in Jan 08. I agreed to quit with the term being that the money that I was spending on cigarettes, would be to buy goodies for my Mustang and any other toy that I have (AKA RAM). It works out well. I haven't smoked since and as I save up, I can buy a goodie hear and there that I want.
Everyone is happy this way.
I do almost all of my own mechanicing as well so this keeps the labor cost down.

I used to own a major trucking company, and sold it to Fed-Ex a couple of years ago. Now I mostly just play with my hobbies, and do repair work at my friend's repair shop. I enjoy what I do. This is partially due to the fact that I really don't need to do anything at all as far as work is concerned. Anyways. I've been toying with my boats and my recently acquired 1979 Dodge Trans-Van Rv al summer. Now Ct is gettin cooler, so it's time to either batten down the hatches, or go back to my place Tampa, Florida for the winter. I 'm kickin around the idea of bringin the Trans-Van with me, and spending some time in the Everglades and such. it needs work tho, and I need parts. some I can't find too easily. I'm looking though.
