Thread shouldn't be closed since bleaching a tank is an ongoing social issue and the beauty of a search feature allows you to avoid duplicate threads. Just because the OP resolved his issue doesn't mean other people don't have the same issue. Again, disagreement /= invalidation.

i don't dispute that what happened sucked, i just question what any person here on this board, or yourself for that matter, gain from what you have posted thus far?

for example, if someone were to have this happen to their vehicle and they came on this forum to research what to do, how does any of what you have posted help them resolve their problem?

methods of retaliation won't fix the problem
reading your dislike of your neighbor doesn't fix the problem
reading your thoughts on Karma and proper road etiquette don't fix the problem

If you wanna vent about what a dick someone is who messes with anyone else's property, that's what the OFF TOPIC section is for!!! You wanna talk about kicking their a$$, do it there! In our rams, Bleach would most likely wouldn't stay in the lines and engine long enough to do any damage. A gasoline soaked rag does a much better job at disabling someone's vehicle and makes a much more pronounced statement.

Thank you for your support though - when you know who cost you money and time and stress it is certainly not immature or juvenile or childish to turn the table. That's the way the world works, right? It is an interesting concept so when I first read about the Bleach Problem (On Here) I went out and bought me a locking Gas Cap (Like SLT8).

I was saying that too, but that portion of my post got deleted with my response to nate. I definitely think locking caps are necessary seeing the problems others have had with bleaching and seeing as even I am planning on such a thing. I went out and bought one after this thread. It's all too easy to ruin a car from the inside out, why not spend the few bucks to protect yourself from it? Even if you have a newer car that requires a button to pop the tank cover, you can't tell me that will be any match for a crow bar or a screwdriver (I have an '01 car that has this 'luxury' feature and the mechanism is plastic. Bet if I found the right stick I could even get it open). I don't even remember where I heard about bleaching, but if I heard about it just through the grapevine I'm sure there are MANY others out there who know about it ready and willing to abuse the knowledge at the drop of a hat.
