Talking HID's Installed (Heads/Fogs) Also **DYNO BONUS VIDS**

Hey dudes! Got my HID"s today and threw them in. Here's a couple shots of the install. Im pretty happy with how I mounted them, found a good spot for the heads, and the fogs bolted right up.

Here's the Kit

Drill'in to mount up the head's

Mounted rdy to wire

All plug and play

Ops ck : good

And then the Fog's all mounted and wired

TADAAA!:

And now for the BONUS! Threw some long tube headers on my roomates 09 taco, so he wanted to dyno it and see any improvement. So we called up my buddy Raz, who just got back from a 1 year deployment and wanted to see if he wanted to dyno his Brand new Mustang GT 500... he said sure! Here's some shots and vid's, FOR THE MAN IN YOU! Hope you like em...

And here's my vid from 2 months ago, before the venom hood, and side moldings were shaved:

Matt put down 221/265

Raz put down 493/484

I put down 310/318

Tried to dyno the bike, they said it wasn't a good idea... Haha

Lemme know what ya think.

Thanks man! It was a blast. And yeah, it took my almost 30 mins to find a suitable place for the ballasts. All pics and vid's taken with my iphone I might add.

I love HIDs and think they are the way to go. But make sure you can turn on your headlights and radio (FM) and not get any interference

Hmm I'll check that out Does that normally happen with HID's? Or just with shabby kits? Or if the ballasts are mounted near the antennae?

IDK man honestly. Ive seen both el cheapo ballasts do it and expensive ones. Hell, they all are made in China

now, i dont know if this is true or not. just speculation on my part. but i think mounting the ballast onto the frame rail, or anything that is grounded plays a part in radio interference.

Ah your killin me weed, lol. Yeah there's some slight distortion when I turn on the HID's... not much though. But it's definately noticeable. Guess my next mod will be some kind of more powerful antennae? What do you think? Maybe shave my antennae and relocate it somewhere else. I was planning on doing that anyway.
