Exclamation Behind the Grill Lights

Where do you get them?
How are they installed (screw or clamps or bar attachment)?
What brand name are you using?

Cause DAMN they look hot!!!

(Only cause I owned an 85 IROC once)

I've seen the Hellas...

I think I didn't like the price.

If you don't like $52 a pair (kit actually) at Wal Mart for Hella 500s, don't even think about KCs or PIAAs or Lightforce lights that will run well over $100 PER LIGHT... Most think that's a damn good price to pay for a nice, German designed light.

But Wally World and auto parts stores have chinese made lights for around $25 also, just never seen them in a thin profile...

Hellas are best for the price and just upgrade em to 100w bulbs and wiring. Mine are mounted to the front support, I used the two bolts already there.

I wasn't looking at Wal-Mart when I was pricing the lights, and the bad price might have been something else, cause I did look at KCs and one other brand...

Yeah, Wally World is actually the best deal out there. Although I know a couple of guys who got NIB ones for less bidding on ebay. But on average they are about $10-15 cheaper there than anywhere online.

King beat me to the DIY by dirtydog. It's a great reference and I used it for my initial install and upgrade. Wally world has the light on for $52 in FTW and amazon has the for $49 shipped. Good luck and welcome. Here's some pics from my project.

Fella's let me ask this...

Why couldn't I wire to the Headlights or fog lights (depending on when I want them on).

A simple fuse in the line or larger fuse in the box should allow for the 55w bulbs, don't you think?

I've wired fog lights to parking light before with no problems. (96 neon)
