Well the Ram's gone...
im glad not all kids are thick headed and would rather be broke than be smart, very good decision as when your done school and land that career you can be back and not worry about being broke or short on funds....
The Honda is gone now also. I enjoy messing with my cars, modding them myself, and driving something I can have fun in. The Honda definitely didn't meet that criteria. I am now a Junior in college, and I have a tad bit more income so I can finally afford gas. Instead of getting back into a full size truck, I decided to go back to my roots and have fun while I can, before I graduate and have a family. I bought another Jeep Wrangler. It is a 2000 Sport, 4.0, 5 Speed. I put a 3.5" lift on it, 33" BFG's, trail gear bumpers, rock sliders, Hella's, and a bunch of other goodies. I will eventually get another Ram, but I'm loving my Jeep right now. Here are a few pics for you guys!

I'm gonna know your pain in about a month when I go back to Tampa. Thankfully my apartment is 2 streets over from campus so I plan on walking to class most days. Thankfully I have a nice little stipend from the Navy to help fill up my tank.
I hear ya, I commuted about 98 miles (one way) to college two times a week in my truck. Although it got impressive mileage it was still quite an expense. I got a gas credit card and just charged my fuel so I didn't have to worry too much about it, and paid it off after I graduated, then ditched the card. Nice Jeep BTW.
I had a Jeep J10 pickup when I was in college, a BEAST that got about 8 mpg and a Honda 650 Nighthawk. The bike was great on gas, but my commute to college was 22 miles each way and in upstate NY winters it was a hard call on whether to freeze my a$$ off or spend on gas. Also had to watch the weather report like a hawk, didn't want to be stuck at school with the bike in a blizzard!
Ya gotta do what ya gotta do, kid...

Alright first, where did you go to school in NY hammer? lol
Second, I could never deal with driving a honda after owning my ram.
Third - really clean jeep man. My truck is definitely my baby and I have no qualms about spending the extra dough to fill her up because of the enjoyment I get out of her. Though getting a decent paying job definitely helps - shoot for some paid internships like I did throughout college and they'll really pay off with both having cash and experience when you graduate (I had at least 2 standing offers from companies I've worked for).
On a side note, jeeps last forever if you take care of them so I would definitely hold onto it even if you do buy another ram so you have a 2nd DD for when you're doing mods to your trucks - that's the one thing I wish I had, another vehicle - it can be tough getting mods done quickly on your DD.
