What about this "HEMI hat" that people keep talking about. Any pictures of it? What are the restrictions involved? Anything a sawzall could fix?
The hemi hat is a molded piece of black plastic. says hemi 5.7 on it. It restricts the air flow to the tb. "Saws all "would be effective, in throwing it out. imo. Replace with, custom ,cold air intake. I made mine from home depot, with a spectre deep cone filter. The hemi hat is the stock set up, reduceing air intake up to 15% also imo.

well glad im not the only one who thinks diesels are fast... i thought for a secondi was just crazy or something..

If you were in the left lane and didn't get over then of course he's going to pass you on the right. By speeding up when he tried to do so only makes you look like a douche.

i bought a 2001 f350 with a 7.3 six speed 4x4 several years ago and now have 794,000 kms on it, and my 2010 6.7 cummins could never keep up the tired old donkey.

We got a 2002 ford f350 CC long bed 4x4 7.3 powerstroke with a $5k suncoast tranny/ billit TC, +100hp tuner, all the tranny coolers, 4" turbo back exhaust etc, etc. Pretty much the thing is built to be bullet proof and for power and lets just say, my hemi can not touch it at all. We just got a trick looking 6" black tip just for looks. Engine wise all it has is a tuner but damn, 80mph comes up quick in that thing and stiff gets 20mpg cruisin 75-80mph. It makes me want to get rid of my hemi and get a diesel, ANY diesel.
