Yeah, if it's an aggressive tire you want, then the Trail Grappler is good, Mud Grappler is great (as long as you like LOUD and don't mind having to buy a set every 20k miles).

That's the biggest trouble with a true M/T, they don't last on pavement.

Mickey Thompson MTZs would be a good tire that's aggressive but still performs well on pavement and wears well, as would Toyo Open Country M/Ts...

We all do, but they don't last if you drive on the pavement a lot. I have the terra graps and I can't take them into really muddy stuff. But they are a great high way tire which I do a lot of now that my tires and loud as hell like my goodyear MT/r's were.

No true mud tire lasts long on pavement compared to an A/T or highway tire, but comparatively the Toyo M/Ts aren't bad.
If the OP is certain an aggressive M/T is for him, then the Toyos are an excellent choice...

What I'd REALLY like is an agressive AT. Just looking for something that looks like an MT with the characteristics / durability of an AT. Noise really is not of much concearn to me, as much as tire life is anyways. So far I'm leaning towards the Terra AT's.

How many miles would a good quality MT Like the Toyo, BFG, or last on the streets? I drive about 10 minutes to work everyday, and 200 miles to cali and back MAYBE every 2 months or so....

Mickey thompson atzs are a very aggresive at. Very little road noise and are great in mud, makes my one wheel wonder go a little further lol.I highly recommend them if you want a bad *** AT that will be great on the road. They are very pricey though (gotta replace my front 2 shortly, $330 a tire for 33x12.5x20)
