Default speaker box location

I have an 05 dodge ram quad cab, and want to put sub-woofers in but dont want to loose my storage space under back seat. I was wondering if it is possible to but them behind the seat?

There is barely enough room to place amplifiers behing the rear seats up against the wall, much less room for any subwoofer.
I would suggest installing just a single sub on one side so you atleast have one side worth of storage. otherwise, your going to need to build a custom box under the center console or be creative in anotherway, but there's no way you can stick subwoofers in your cab without losing some sort of space in the cab. Subs are big, bulky and need air space to operate.
I wish i could stick my subs behind the seat to get them out of the way, but it's just not possible.
Can't have your cake and eat it too on subs.sorry.

I know I posted to this thread yesterday...where the hell is it?

Anyway, what I said was:

I couldn't give up any cargo space for subs, wonder if you can get a ported 8" sub in the middle of the back seat cargo (which is barely any) or under the drivers or passengers seat.

I would have to agree w/ Dog on this one. Go for the one sub & still have one side of cargo. Mount the amp under your drivers side seat. The sound quality will exceed your storage space usage if you enjoy good sounding bass!
