Thanks. The 8000k are perfect for me. They don't seem too blue at all. And yes I put them in the stock housings.

Have fun blinding passing motorists and enjoying scattered lighting at night and poor lighting in rain/fog.

^^^^ Just aim them down a little and you will be fine and still have plenty of light.

how do u aim it down? Is it that one screw at the very bottom of the headlight. Im still stuck trying to get the driver side headlight to come off so i can get to the bulbs and wires. I have been driving without any screws holding it in place for so long its not even funny. maybe I should get the dealer to pop them off.

But I see you have hidextra. If i recall from the past, people experienced problems when buying a hid kit. Did you need any extra parts to get them functioning properly?

Less attitude could do you wonders. I made sure that i was not blinding anyone by turning them down slightly as Weed said. then had my wife drive one way down the highway and me down the other way until i was satisfied that they weren't glaring.

As for the rain and fog you are crazy because it was snowing.fog on my way to work this morning and i could see better than i could ever have with the halogens. maybe eventually ill get projectors but for now they will do.

olyelr - No issues what so ever

VP - I got everything right on the first try, with great customer service over the phone, capacitors were included. All I did was install them and they worked. No problems, no extras.

Looks great! Ive used Hidextra for many years now and a couple hours ago I just installed the new set of bulbs they sent me for free since one of the bulbs was slightly a different temp/color.

Bet you had fun putting in the driver side bulb...that one is a b****!
