Default Front end level.

I've asked about it before, but I never really got around to doing it, and since I'll be running into a nice big paycheck from working over the Holidays, I want to get it done to my truck. I just want an idea of good kits for a 2wd that will get it as close to level as physically possible, and also maybe an idea of price ranges if possible. Any and all help is appreciated.

I have the Day Star 2" leveling kit on my truck, it is almost perfectly leveled, about 1/4" lower in the front still, but hardly noticeable, and the ride isn't too bad. I had to get new ProComp shocks when I did the level, so the lift spacers were about $100 and the shocks were another $100 for a total of about $200 and the shop charged me $50 to install. There are also lift spindles for the 2wd that are a 3" lift up front using stock shocks/springs, and cost about $280. The spindles will keep your factory ride comfort and give you a little more lift than the spacer will. The spindles aren't too hard to install yourself, but if you have never done a spindle or aren't mechanically inclined, a shop would probably charge a couple hundred bucks to install them. Hope this helps a little and gives you an idea about what's out there. Check out some pics of my truck and see if you like its stance.

Thank you for the quick and detailed answer, would you happen to have a link to the kit you got? Also, if you happen to have a link to the spindles you mentioned that would be great too. The 3" one wouldn't bring the front higher than the back would it? Oh and by the way, you have a pretty nice truck there, love that color and the stance looks good too!

Sure do, HERE are the Spindles: http://www.airbagit.com/product-p/x2-spi-dod-06.htm

HERE are the spacers: http://www.amazon.com/Daystar-KC0910...4630060&sr=8-6

The Spindle may bring the front of the truck to about 1/2" higher in the front than the rear, maybe 3/4", you can always add a 1" block to the rear leaf springs to level it back out and give you a little more lift if you prefer.

Thanks for the complements, I really love this truck, just HATE the wheels/tire, looking into getting a nice set of black 17-18" wheels and a nice set of 33" A/T's... I am not a chrome kind of guy.

Again, thank you for the help, and thank you for the links. I may actually end up going with the spindles and blocks in the back, I'm not sure it depends on total price. Will post pics when it's done, should be sometime within the next two weeks, and the black on orange looks is sick. You'll need to post pics when you're done, I bet it will be real slick.

Blocks are really cheap, you can find them on ebay. I have 2" rear blocks if you want them, just sitting in my garage... They would probably be a little too much with a 3" spindle, unless you like a little bit of forward rake for towing/hauling. Let me know..

Yeah, I have seen black/red trucks and they look really nice. There aren't too many Sunburst Orange trucks around, so it is hard to get a good idea of what it will look like but I think it will look good. I will definitely post pictures when ever I get it done, probably in a few months or so.

You can buy 1", 2" or 3" blocks from Autzone for about $30

Do you have to ask for them from behind the counter, or are they out on the shelf?
