Default Bigger oil filter

In case anyone was wondering. The wix 51773/napa 1773 and AmsoilEao-26-ea all fit the 02-05 Hemi's.
They add about 1.5 quarts of oil capacity.

I use oversized filters. 1.5 more quarts? I doubt it.

It's a big filter. It takes about 8.5 quarts to fill my truck with that filter. Here are the specs:

Style: Spin-On Lube Filter
Service: Lube
Type: Full Flow
Media: Paper
Height: 6.982
Outer Diameter Top: 3.663
Outer Diameter Bottom: Closed
Thread Size: 3/4-16
By-Pass Valve Setting-PSI: 8-11
Anti-Drain Back Valve: Yes
Burst Pressure-PSI: 290
Max Flow Rate: 7-9 GPM
Nominal Micron Rating: 32"

Hmmm? That's larger than the oversized versions I've used. I wonder if that large Micron Rating is a problem?

Thanks for the info. I like to find a cross reference for those filters for M1, KandN etc.
