people use the 3815 and 3895 on the 4.7 reguarly. Ive heard anything between 1.5-2mpg better. Getting the lift off and smaller tires is helping more than anything

If you are like me, city driving is killing mpgs. I get like 8. But an efan will help as much as a tuner in city driving and will be alot cheaper

Mileage can vary with so many things. No doubt a tuner can help but there are a lot of other things can affect it also

Well, if I'm mistaken, all that is, is a glorified version of a power wire. A 5 cent resistor that goes inline between the IAT sensor and the PCM. The extra 36 HP and 4MPG gains they are talking about are not realistic. I would cancel the order and search this site on a DIY for a power wire. Just my two bits.

Agreed. IDK why people believe such crap from bogus sellers. If it were really true dont you think it would be all over the news and everywhere else with fuel prices what they are? LOL

As for the efan, feel free to check out all our FAQs here

And if it even works. I bought one for my 03 4.7 and had a hell of a time getting it to program. I ended up returning it after about 4 hours of trying and trying and trying to revert it back to stock, finally it worked. Not worth the hassle IMO. I went with gears instead.

I picked up about 1.5 (maybe 2) mpg from my Superchips tuner and a little more power.

I have an 03 with a 4.7 and use the 3865. I got about 2 MPG better with the 91 tune and about 1 mpg better with the XL Mileage tune. Like you I was after the increase in mpg.

While not stellar improvement in mpg, the performance increase I got was stellar.

Well worth the money IMO.
